Our smoked salmon trimmings are literally the smoked salmon which gets trimmed off our famous smoked salmon sides. They can include darker meat but are perfect for pates and terrines. They are not as aesthetically pleasing as our smoked salmon packets but the taste does not differ.Our delicious smoked salmon is sourced from waters off the West Coast of Scotland and smoked in our own kilns for 12-18 hours using highest quality wood chip and saw dust, giving it a flavour which we are famous for.

Our smoked salmon is ready to eat, simply remove from the fridge an hour before serving.
Storage
Keep refrigerated until date shown on pack. Suitable to freeze for upto 12 months.
So much nicer flavour than Sainsbury’s ones! I use these in a very simple pasta sauce (mascarpone, peas, lemon and tiny bit of garlic, salt & pepper) and these trimmings really lifted the sauce. Will definitely be buying again. Thank you.

Excellent stand by
I use these trimmings to make a quick smoked salmon paté - 1 pack trimmings, 1 philly-style cream cheese, squeeze of lemon, half a minute with a stick blender. Great as a starter, a dip, a light meal or a sandwich filling. The latest batch of trimmings are even better than usual, with none of the grey skinny bits often there before.

Ok these are trimmings from a whole side. What a lot of people don't realise is where these trimmings come from has the highest fat/omega oil content. Absolutely delicious on toast or with a pasta dish etc. Quality smoked salmon.
