Lumpfish roe is produced from the lumpfish, which matures more quickly than a slow-growing and large fish that results in more expensive and rare sturgeon caviar. It is a less expensive alternative to sturgeon caviar but has a similar flavor, making it a more conscious choice since sturgeon is an endangered species. Treat yourself to this delicate caviar-like-roe and dine like the royal you are!
I think this is perfect for most uses, even if you also occasionally want to splash out on the posh stuff! I love it on canapes, with smoked salmon, and on a toasted pitta bread with a bit of chopped onion and a dollop of sour cream. Also nice with a slice of buttered toast. Yum.

Excellent product
I use this product on gravadlax with lemon juice + blk pepper on a base of cream cheese on a blini or similar. This makes delicious hors d’oevres.
