Delicious.

I have been waiting for these Melts to come back in stock. So delighted I have been able to get them today .Delicious fried in butter, then add pepper and balsamic vinegar. I like mine with garlic mushrooms. What a treat.

Herring melts

First timer with the melts, followed the advice in the previous review & added French mustard which really gives them a lift.
Prefer mine slightly harder than soft. On delivery whilst fresh, I divided them into " lunch portion" sizes before freezing.

Delicious

These herring soft roes / melts / milts are huge and delicious, so much so that I felt compelled to write a review. They can be hard to come by, and even then, I've previously only ever managed to buy them in a frozen 454 gram block, making them difficult to break up for separate meals. These arrive fresh, so can easily be separated and then frozen if desired. I cook them for a few minutes with butter and English mustard, and then have them on toast with a side salad. Sublime.
